Why we made Kindred
Walk into any perfume counter and count the ads. Same couple, same story, every time. We wanted a fragrance that looked like our nights out, our first dates and our long weekends in, so we made one.
Kindred is pheromone perfume made for the LGBTQ+ community. Each scent pairs a long-wear eau de parfum with pheromone-inspired aroma molecules that melt into your skin chemistry, so it smells personal, stays close and gets people leaning in.
Our history
01The night it startedIt began with a simple question at a friend's birthday: why does every perfume ad tell the same love story? Nobody at the table had ever seen themselves in one.
02Chasing the chemistryWe spent months with perfumers testing blends of classic fragrance and pheromone-inspired aroma molecules, looking for scents that sit close to the skin and smell personal on everyone.
03Four scents, one familyHundreds of samples later, four made the cut: Midnight Crush, Velvet Kiss, Golden Hour and Neon Bloom. Two built for queer love, two for everyone.
04The bottleA prism-cut bottle that splits light into a rainbow and a pearl cap that shifts colour: a quiet nod to the community it's made for, beautiful on any shelf.
05TodayKindred ships across the US in discreet packaging, and every week we hear the same story: "they wouldn't stop asking what I was wearing."
